Overview
Par Pacific is a growth-oriented company that owns and operates market-leading energy and infrastructure businesses in logistically-complex markets. Refining
Our four refineries operate in logistically-complex markets, processing crude oil into refined products to serve our local communities. We have an operating refining capacity of 219,000 barrels per day with a distillate orientation across our locations. In Hawaii, we primarily focus on producing jet fuel for tourism and low sulfur fuel oil to supply the local utilities, as well as ground transportation for our retail operations and other third parties. Our Tacoma refinery is unique in that we are the only local asphalt producer in the growing Pacific Northwest region. In Wyoming and Montana, we cater to gasoline and distillate demand in the Rockies market. Our refineries operate as Par Hawaii Refining, U.S. Oil, Wyoming Refining Company and Par Montana.
Logistics
Our unique logistics assets give us a competitive edge in our local markets. Marine terminals in Hawaii and Tacoma provide blue water access to waterborne crude markets. Barges in both locations allow refined product and crude movements between our facilities. We also own truck racks in each region and rail facilities on the mainland, which provide us flexibility for our transportation needs. In addition, our recently completed Next Gen renewable fuels logistics project in Tacoma enables unit-train transportation and storage of renewable products and internalizes our ethanol movements. We own and operate 549 miles of pipeline and 13 million barrels of storage across our regions. Three of our refineries are connected to a military base through pipelines.
Retail
Our local retail brands represent our company. In Hawaii, Hele represents a place to go, move, or come in. We seek to provide both fuel, food and other conveniences to our local Hawaiian community. In the Pacific Northwest, nomnom is a place were our communities come to find not only fuel, but also local favorites. From the froozee truck to nomgoose, we bring something unique.
