Will Monteleone
William Monteleone has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since April 2024. Prior to that, he served as President from January 2023 to April 2024, and as Chief Financial Officer from March 2017 to December 2022. Mr. Monteleone became Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions in February 2015, and before that served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer beginning in June 2013. Since 2012, Mr. Monteleone has served on the Board of Directors for Par Pacific as well as on the Board of Managers for Laramie Energy, LLC, Par Pacific’s Colorado-based upstream asset. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Monteleone was a Vice President at Equity Group Investments (EGI), the Chicago-based private investment firm founded and led by Sam Zell, where he was involved in a range of restructurings and investments primarily within the energy industry. Prior to EGI, Mr. Monteleone began his professional career at Banc of America Securities LLC. Mr. Monteleone previously served on the Board of Directors of Wapiti Oil and Gas I, LLC, Wapiti Oil and Gas II, LLC, and Kuwait Energy Company. Mr. Monteleone holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University.
Richard Creamer
Richard Creamer has served as our Executive Vice President, Refining and Logistics since April 2022. Prior to rejoining Par Pacific, Mr. Creamer served as Vice President and Refinery Manager for HF Sinclair for the El Dorado, Kansas refinery. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President and Refinery Manager for Par Pacific at the Kapolei, Hawaii refinery. Previously, he served in a variety of operations and engineering leadership roles throughout the Texas Gulf Coast with Flint Hills Resources, Invista, LyondellBasell, and Koch Industries. Mr. Creamer holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Texas Tech University.
Shawn Flores
Shawn Flores has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 2023. Mr. Flores joined Par Pacific in July 2014, serving in a variety of financial leadership roles. Most recently, Mr. Flores served as our Vice President of Finance since July 2021 where he was accountable for Par Pacific’s treasury, risk management, financial planning & strategy, and mergers & acquisitions functions. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Flores worked in finance roles with BG Group in Texas and the United Kingdom. Mr. Flores holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in finance, both from Texas A&M University and is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Texas.
Jon Goldsmith
Jon Goldsmith has served as our Senior Vice President, Renewables since May 2023. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Goldsmith served as Managing Director of Business Development – Emerging Energy for Phillips 66. Prior to that, he served in a variety of engineering and business development roles with Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips, and Turner Construction. Mr. Goldsmith holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in engineering management, both from University of Colorado.
Jeff Hollis
Jeff Hollis has served as our Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since January 2023, and as our Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since January 2022. Previously, Mr. Hollis served as our Associate General Counsel and Secretary since June 2015. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Hollis served as a Senior Counsel at Air Liquide and as an Associate at the law firm of Baker Botts. Mr. Hollis holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of California Los Angeles and a juris doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Ryan Kelley
Ryan Kelley has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer since January 2022. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Kelley served as both Chief Information Officer and Chief Procurement Officer for Motiva Enterprises, LLC. Previously, he served in a variety of IT and Procurement leadership roles with Andeavor Corporation, AT&T, The Texas Restaurant Association, and Raba-Kistner. Mr. Kelley holds a bachelor's degree in business and an MBA, both from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Matthew Legg
Matthew Legg has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer since January 2022 and as our Vice President of Human Resources since July 2019. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Legg served as Vice President of Human Resources for Emerald Performance Materials in Vancouver, Washington. Previously, he served in a variety of field and corporate HR leadership roles with Anadarko Petroleum, Ensco, and Chevron in Texas, California, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom. Mr. Legg holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Texas A&M University, an MBA from University of Houston - Clear Lake, and a master's degree in human resources management from University of Southern California.
Danielle Mattiussi
Danielle Mattiussi has served as our Senior Vice President & Chief Retail Officer since January 2023. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Ms. Mattiussi served as Vice President of Retail Operations for Maverik. Previously, she served in a variety of marketing, business development, and sales management roles with Canon USA and Eastman Kodak. Ms. Mattiussi holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting, both from DePaul University and an MBA from University of Utah
Terrill Pitkin
Terrill Pitkin has served as our Senior Vice President, Planning & Commercial since May 2023. Prior to that, Mr. Pitkin served as our Vice President of Planning & Optimization since April 2020. Mr. Pitkin joined Par Pacific in November 2014 and has held a variety of commercial and planning leadership roles. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Pitkin served in a variety of engineering and operations roles at the Marathon Petroleum refinery in Galveston and the BP refinery in Texas City. Mr. Pitkin holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Lamar University and an MBA from University of Houston – Clear Lake.
Eric Wright
Eric Wright has served as Senior Vice President of Logistics since March 2024, a role he holds concurrently with being President of Par Hawaii of which he was appointed in January 2022. Mr. Wright was appointed as the company’s lead executive in Hawaii in January 2021. Mr. Wright joined Par Pacific in April 2013 and has served in multiple senior leadership roles in logistics, commercial and business development in Hawaii and Texas. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Wright served in business development and finance roles with The AES Corporation, a global electric generation and utility company, and Xcel Energy, Inc., a multi-state electric and gas utility. Mr. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Georgetown University. Mr. Wright is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and is a CFA charter-holder.
Kim Jakub
Kim Jakub has served as our Senior Vice President, Rocky Mountain Refining since January 2024. Prior to that, Ms. Jakub served as the Vice President and Refinery Manager for Par Pacific at the Billings, Montana refinery. Prior to joining Par Pacific, she served in a variety of technical, operational, and business leadership roles with ExxonMobil in Montana, Texas, and Virginia. Ms. Jakub holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Nebraska.
Ivan Guerra
Ivan Guerra has served as our Vice President and Chief accounting officer since March 2018, and as our Corporate Controller since January 2017. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Guerra served as Global Assistant Controller at Ascend Performance Materials. Previously, Mr. Guerra was a Senior Manager in KPMG Houston's Audit practice where his clients included public and private clients across various industries. Mr. Guerra holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from University of Houston. MMr. Guerra is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Robert S. Silberman
Mr. Silberman serves as the Chairman of our Board of Directors and has served on our Board since 2014. Mr. Silberman is the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Strategic Education, Inc. (Nasdaq:STRA). He served as Chairman of the Board of Strategic Education, Inc. from 2003 to 2013, and as its Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2013. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Silberman served in a variety of senior management positions at CalEnergy Company, Inc., including as President and Chief Operating Officer. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Silberman was Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of International Paper Company. From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Silberman was appointed by President George H. W. Bush to several senior positions in the U.S. Department of Defense, including as the Assistant Secretary of the Army. He also serves as Lead Director, and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Covanta Holding Company (NYSE:CVA). Mr. Silberman is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in international policy from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
Melvyn N. Klein
Mr. Klein has served on our Board since 2014. Mr. Klein is a private investor and Founder of Melvyn N. Klein Interests. He is President of JAKK Holding Corp., the Managing General Partner of the investment partnership GKH Partners, LP from 1987 until 2008, and an Attorney and Counselor-at-law since 1968. Earlier in his career, he was a McKinsey & Company consultant and a senior officer of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, Inc. (subsequently merged with Credit Suisse). He has been the President and CEO of two American Stock Exchange listed companies: Altamil Corporation and Eskey, Inc. He was the controlling shareholder, co-founder, or a significant partner in a number of industry leading companies in several fields (most of which were successfully merged or sold) including American Medical International, Inc. (subsequently merged to create Tenet Healthcare); UGHC/Arcus (subsequently sold to Koch Industries, Inc.- Flint Hills Resources, LP. and the balance merged with Iron Mountain), Savoy Pictures Entertainment, Inc. (subsequently merged with IAC Interactive), Hanover Compressor Company (subsequently merged to create Exterran Holdings Corp., the world’s largest independent natural gas compression company), Cockrell Oil & Gas, L.P. (assets subsequently sold to UNOCAL), and Santa Fe Energy Resources, Inc. (subsequently merged in part with Chevron and in part with Devon Energy). Mr. Klein was appointed by President Reagan to the Executive Committee of the President’s Private Sector Survey on Cost Control in the Federal Government (Grace Commission) and by President Clinton to the U.S. State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy. Mr. Klein is a former Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center (The world’s #1 center for cancer care and research), is a Life Member of its Board, and is a Member of the Officers’ and Executive Committees. He is a Member of the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc. and a Member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Klein received a Juris Doctorate degree from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Highest Honors in Economics from Colgate University. He also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science and completed the coursework for a master’s degree at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Mr. Klein is a member of the Philosophical Society of Texas.
Curt Anastasio
Mr. Anastasio has served on our Board since 2014. Mr. Anastasio served as the Chairman of GasLog Partners LP, an international owner, operator and manager of liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers until the company was taken private in July of 2023. Appointed Executive Chairman in February 2014, Mr. Anastasio led the IPO of the company in May 2014. Mr. Anastasio also serves on the Board of The Chemours Company (NYSE:CC), which was spun off from DuPont in 2015. In June of 2023, Mr. Anastasio was elected to the Board of Directors of Core Laboratories, a leading, global provider of proprietary and patented reservoir description and production enhancement services and products. He served as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas for six years from 2014 through 2019.
He previously served as President and CEO of NuStar Energy L. P. (NYSE: NS), a publicly traded master limited partnership based in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Anastasio was the President and CEO of the company from the time he led the initial public offering in April 2001, until he retired from the company on December 31, 2013. Under his leadership, NuStar grew from a small business to a Fortune 500 company. NuStar received many awards and recognition during Mr. Anastasio’s tenure, including being named by Fortune magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in America every year since 2007 and Forbes Magazine’s 100 Most Trustworthy Companies. In 2013, Mr. Anastasio was elected to the San Antonio Business Hall of Fame. Mr. Anastasio received a Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School in 1981 and a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna cum Laude, from Cornell University in 1978. After graduation, he practiced corporate law in New York City.
Anthony Chase
Mr. Chase has served on our Board since 2021. Mr. Chase is the Chairman and CEO of ChaseSource, L.P., a staffing, facilities management, and construction firm. Mr. Chase’s prior experience as an entrepreneur includes starting and selling three ventures. Chase Radio Partners owned seven radio stations and was sold to Clear Channel Communications in 1998. Mr. Chase opened the first three Cricket Wireless markets in Tennessee selling to Leap Wireless in 1998. Mr. Chase also sold ChaseCom, an enterprise that built and operated call centers around the world, to AT&T Corporation in 2007. He currently serves on the boards of Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc., Nabors Industries Ltd., Heritage-Crystal Clean, Inc., and LyondellBasell Industries N.V. In addition, his nonprofit board membership includes the Houston Endowment, Greater Houston Partnership, Texas Medical Center, and the MD Anderson Board of Visitors. Mr. Chase is a past Deputy Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and a past Chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership, as well as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and an Eagle Scout. Mr. Chase is a tenured Professor of Law at the University of Houston Law Center and an honors graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School.
Timothy Clossey
Mr. Clossey has served on our Board since 2014. Mr. Clossey is the President and owner at Spirit Technologies, a management coaching and engineering consulting services company. Mr. Clossey previously served as Production Manager and Major Projects Director for BP Cherry Point and through fundamental discipline improved operational reliability and reduced costs. Due to his efforts, he reestablished the refinery at Solomon Pacesetter levels and moved the refinery from BP’s least profitable to its number one performing site worldwide. The Projects group performance was benchmarked by IPA as the #1 performing projects group throughout the industry. He was a Consultant to the Board at SaltChuck Resources on M&A opportunities; a Board Member at Timec, Inc., where Mr. Clossey chaired the Audit Committee, organized and chaired a Special Committee of Outside Directors and served on the Compensation Committee. Mr. Clossey served as President and CEO of ARCO Marine, Inc. and during his tenure bottom line profitability improved three fold. As VP Corporate Strategic Planning, Downstream for ARCO, Mr. Clossey was responsible for strategic planning for all of ARCO’s downstream companies. As Vice President of Engineering, Technology and R&D at ARCO, his role was responsible for leading ARCO’s Engineering and Research Center in Anaheim, California. As Manager, Clean Fuels Development Task Force at ARCO, Mr. Clossey lead the reformulated gasoline R&D efforts at the Technical Center as well as served in the government Relations role working with industry associations such as WSPA and the API as well as all Federal and State agencies working on reformulated gasoline regulations throughout the nation. Mr. Clossey graduated from Harvard Business School with an Executive MBA and he received his BS in Chemical Engineering Summa cum Laude from Washington State University.
Phil Davidson
Mr. Davidson has served on our Board since 2021. Mr. Davidson was the Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command, headquartered in Honolulu, HI, from 2018 to 2021. He retired from active service in the U.S. Navy in May 2021 as a four-star Admiral after nearly 39 years of service. He is currently on the boards of AeroVironment, Inc. and Norfolk Southern Corp, among other private sector organizations. He is also a Board Member at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, an independent, non-partisan policy research institute, and serves on military advisory groups to the Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA (a 501(3)c), as well as the United States Institute of Peace, a national, nonpartisan, independent institute founded by Congress and dedicated to U.S. and global security. He is the founder/owner of Davidson Strategies LLC. Mr. Davidson is 1982 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and a 1992 distinguished graduate of the U.S. Naval War College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies.
Katherine Hatcher
Katherine Hatcher has served on our Board since 2019. She is currently a development partner and previously acted as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2021 of NewQuest Properties, a privately owned, full-service company based in Houston, Texas engaged in commercial development, retail leasing, tenant representation, land brokerage, and property management. Before joining NewQuest Properties, Katherine was the president of the Gulf Coast States region for Verizon Wireless for eight years. Ms. Hatcher has been involved in and held board positions with various community organizations located in Houston, Texas, including the Greater Houston Partnership Board of Directors, MD Anderson’s Board of Visitors, Children’s Museum of Houston, the Houston Area Women’s Center, Youth About Business and Young Presidents Organization. She is also an alumna of The Center for Houston’s Future. Ms. Hatcher holds two master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of which is in City and Regional Planning. Ms. Hatcher provides the Board with experience and insight into the operation, development, and growth of the Company’s businesses, particularly with regard to the Company’s real property assets.
Patricia Martinez
Ms. Martinez has served on our Board since 2023. She is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cormetech. Prior to her current role, she served as Chief Energy Transition Officer of Enerflex Ltd from 2021 to 2024 and was the President of Enerflex’s Latin American business from 2014 to 2022. Ms. Martinez was responsible for creating and executing Enerflex’s transformational energy transition strategy including carbon capture and sequestration, hydrogen, bioenergy, and electrification. In addition, she previously served as an officer of several private equity backed domestic and international energy companies and on the boards of directors of Orocobre (Allkem Limited) (ASX:AKE) and the Argentinian Petroleum & Gas Institute of Houston. She currently serves on the board of NOV Inc. (NYSE: NOV). Ms. Martinez received her bachelor’s degree from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, her MBA from Houston Baptist University, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
William Pate
Mr. Pate has served on our Board since 2014. Mr. Pate retired as Chief Executive Officer of Par Pacific in April 2024. Prior to joining Par Pacific as President and CEO in October 2015, William Pate was the Co-President of Equity Group Investments, the Chicago-based private investment firm founded and led by Sam Zell, where he had been employed in various capacities since 1994. Mr. Pate has served on the boards of directors of Covanta Holding Corporation, Exterran Holdings, Inc., Adams Respiratory Therapeutics, MiddleBrook Pharmaceuticals and CNA Surety Corp., as well as those of several private companies associated with Equity Group Investments. Mr. Pate began his professional career at The First Boston Corporation as a financial analyst in the natural resources mergers and acquisitions group. Subsequently, he was employed as an associate at The Blackstone Group where he worked on private equity investments and merger advisory assignments. Mr. Pate holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College.
Eric Yeaman
Mr. Yeaman is currently the founder and managing partner of Hoku Capital LLC, a strategic advisory services firm located in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of First Hawaiian Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of First Hawaiian Inc., from June 2015 to August 2019. From 2008 to 2015, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Hawaiian Telcom, a telecommunications and technology company serving the state of Hawaii. Prior to that, he was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. (“HECO”). Mr. Yeaman joined Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (“HEI”), HECO’s parent company, in 2003 as Financial Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining HEI, Mr. Yeaman held the positions of Chief Operating and Financial Officer for Kamehameha Schools from 2000 to 2003. Mr. Yeaman serves as Chairman of the Board of Alexander Baldwin, Inc., a premier Hawaii commercial real estate company. He currently serves on the board of Alaska Air Group, Inc. Additionally, Mr. Yeaman serves on several private company and civic and community boards throughout the State of Hawaii, including DR Fortress LLC, Lanihaua Properties LLC, Palani Ranch Company, Inc., WattIQ, Friends of Hawaii Charities, The Harold K.L. Castle Foundation, and Hawaii Asia Pacific Association. Mr. Yeaman graduated from the University of Hawaii at Moana with a bachelor’s degree before beginning his career at Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Yeaman brings to the board extensive executive experience, which includes business development and mergers and acquisitions, as well as expertise in finance and accounting. Further, Mr. Yeaman’s deep knowledge of the Hawaiian markets where we operate and his experience as a chairman or member of publicly held company boards of directors will provide the Board with knowledge of governance and other related matters.
Aaron Zell
Mr. Zell has served on our board since May 2023. Mr. Zell is currently Senior Associate – Investments at Equity Group Investments. At Equity Group, Mr. Zell sources and evaluates a variety of investments and works with the management teams of Equity Group’s existing investments. Mr. Zell serves on the board of the Zell Entrepreneurship Foundation, which supports various philanthropic ventures, including the Zell Lurie Institute at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, the Zell Fellows Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and the Zell Entrepreneurship Program at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) in Israel. He also serves on the board of the Matthew Zell Family Foundation, which is currently focused on combating climate change and supporting local community organizations. Mr. Zell graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to EGI, Mr. Monteleone worked for Banc of America Securities LLC where he was involved in a variety of debt capital raising transactions, including leveraged buyouts, corporate-to-corporate acquisitions and other debt financing activities. Mr. Monteleone previously served on the Board of Directors of Wapiti Oil and Gas I, LLC, Wapiti Oil and Gas II, LLC, and Kuwait Energy Company. Mr. Monteleone graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor's degree.
